Recently there has been a steady rise in pro gun representatives being elected to State and Federal Parliament: David Leyonhejelm in the Senate, Bridget McKenzie, Nationals Senator, 2 x Shooters and Fishers Party reps in NSW Legislative Counsel and now one in the NSW Legislative Assembly, 1 x Shooters and Fishers Party Rep in WA, 2 x Shooter and Fishers Party rep in Victorian Upper House.
Senate, Bridget McKenzie has also established the Parliamentary Friends of Shooting within the Commonwealth Parliament.
Some of these members of parliament hold the balance of power which means governments are open to doing deals with them in order to pass legislation.
Please let your elected member know that doing deals with the gun lobby is a grubby business that compromises public safety and allows gun numbers to flourish.
